Private Placement
Trusted Counsel
Absolute Discretion
Placement for people who operate where trust is everything.
Meridian Six Partners places the people who make a busy household work - house managers, family assistants, personal and executive assistants, chefs, nannies, and senior household leadership - matched with the same care and discretion we'd want for our own families.
WHAT WE DO
This isn't a job board. It's a relationship.
We work with a select group of private clients and exceptional candidates navigating roles where trust, judgment, and day-to-day reliability matter as much as any résumé. Think house managers, family assistants, and personal and executive assistants - roles where the boundary between a job description and a relationship is intentionally blurred.
Meridian Six Partners exists for clients who require more than a résumé, and for candidates who deserve more than a job board.
Some engagements are full-time. Many aren't. We place part-time support just as carefully as we do full-time roles.
HOW WE WORK
We don’t operate at volume. We take on a small number of engagements at a time so that every search receives our full attention and every candidate is treated as the person they are, not a profile to be moved.
Deliberate by design.
For clients
We begin by understanding not just the role, but the household, the dynamic, and the long-term vision. Then we identify and approach candidates who meet that brief quietly, directly, and with the same discretion we’d expect from the people we place.
Our client relationships are built over time, not transacted quickly. We work with private households, high-net-worth individuals and families, and principals who understand the right person in a role of trust is worth waiting for.
For candidates
We represent a limited number of candidates at any time people whose integrity, professionalism, and judgment we can stand behind. If we’re working with you, we’re advocating for you.
Our candidates are professionals with proven track records in private service, executive support, or luxury environments people who take their work seriously and expect the same from the people representing them.
ROLES WE PLACE
The roles we focus on.
We specialize in a focused range of placements within private households and executive personal support. Each carries a level of responsibility, access, and trust that goes well beyond a conventional job description.
Personal/Executive Assistant
EXECUTIVE SUPPORT • PERSONAL AFFAIRS • HOUSEHOLD TASKS
The best personal and executive assistants operate where the professional and the personal are deliberately blurred. They manage careers and calendars, yes but also relationships, reputations, and the quiet details of a life lived at a high level. They know what to filter, what to escalate, and what to handle without asking. Their judgment is as important as their organization. Available as part-time (typically 15–25 hours/week) or full-time, depending on your household's needs.
Typically placed with: Executives, physicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and other high-performing professionals who need one trusted person managing the full picture of their professional and personal demands.
Family Assistant
FAMILY LOGISTICS • KIDS' SCHEDULES • EVERYDAY HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT
A family assistant becomes the extra set of hands a busy household runs on — managing school pickups and activity schedules, packing lunches, running errands, and keeping the week from falling apart when two working parents can't be in three places at once. The best family assistants are endlessly organized and comfortable stepping in wherever the day actually needs them. Available as part-time (typically 15–25 hours/week) or full-time, depending on your household's needs.
Typically placed with: Dual-career families with school-age children who need reliable, day-to-day support with the logistics of family life — someone who can flex between carpool, errands, and keeping the household calendar running.
Private Chef
MENU PLANNING · DAILY MEALS · DIETARY NEEDS · ENTERTAINING
A private chef brings the skill of a fine kitchen into the everyday rhythm of your home. They plan menus around your family's tastes, health goals and schedule, shop with care, and keep the kitchen running so a good meal is never one more thing to think about. The right chef moves easily from a weeknight dinner for four to a holiday table for twenty and remembers who avoids dairy and who loves a second helping. Their discretion is as important as their talent.
Typically placed with: Families with demanding schedules, specific dietary or wellness goals, or a full entertaining calendar who want to eat well at home without the planning, shopping and cleanup.
House Manager
VENDOR MANAGEMENT • DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS • HOUSEHOLD TASKS • PROJECT COORDINATION
A household manager runs the daily life of a single residence with precision and care. This role sits at the center of the household coordinating staff, managing vendors, and ensuring the home operates to the standard the principal expects, every day. The right person handles a last-minute dinner for twelve and a contractor dispute in the same afternoon without the principal ever knowing there was a problem. Available as part-time (typically 15–25 hours/week) or full-time, depending on your household's needs.
Typically placed with: Busy dual-career households and families who want the day-to-day running of the home handled - vendors, staff, projects, and details - so it's simply off their plate.
Estate Manager
PRIVATE RESIDENCE • MULTI-PROPERTY • FULL HOUSEHOLD OVERSIGHT
An estate manager is the principal’s most trusted operational partner. This is a leadership position requiring financial acuity, vendor management, staff oversight, and the ability to maintain impeccable standards across one or more properties without being asked twice. The best estate managers are proactive, discreet, and extraordinarily organized. They anticipate what’s needed before it’s expressed.
Typically placed with: High-net-worth individuals and families with primary residences, vacation properties, or multi-home portfolios requiring seamless, invisible management.
Nanny
CHILDCARE · DAILY ROUTINES · DEVELOPMENT · FAMILY SUPPORT
A great nanny becomes a steady, trusted presence in a child's life. They care for children with warmth and attention, keep routines consistent, and support each stage of growth, from first words to homework and activities. They work as a true partner to parents, sharing your values, communicating clearly and noticing the small things that matter. The right person gives you complete confidence the moment you walk out the door.
Typically placed with: High-net-worth individuals and families with primary residences, vacation properties, or multi-home portfolios requiring seamless, invisible management.
Private Chief of Staff
PRINCIPAL SUPPORT • STRATEGIC OPERATIONS • SENIOR-LEVEL MANAGEMENT
A private chief of staff is the most senior role we place. This person operates as a principal’s right hand across the full scope of their life managing people, priorities, information flow, and decisions at a level that requires not just competence but genuine strategic judgment. Unlike a personal assistant, a chief of staff is expected to lead. The trust required for this role is extraordinary and so is the standard we apply when filling it.
Typically placed with: Ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or public-facing principals whose complexity demands a senior leader, not just a scheduler, running the infrastructure of their life.
WHY MERIDIAN SIX PARTNERS
What sets us apart isn’t a process. It’s a standard.
Anyone can fill a role. We're focused on something harder - finding the right person for a household where trust, reliability, and fit matter as much as any résumé.
We are small on purpose. We are selective on purpose. And we hold ourselves to the same standard of care and professionalism that we expect from every candidate we place.
Frequently asked questions.
-
We don’t post and pray. We maintain a curated network of vetted professionals and approach candidates directly and confidentially. Most of the people we place are not actively looking, they’re simply open to the right opportunity.
-
Most searches take 4–6 weeks from kickoff to offer, depending on the role and how specific the brief is — a Family Assistant search often moves faster, while a more senior or highly specific role can take longer. We'd rather take the extra time to get it right than move quickly and place the wrong person, and we'll give you an honest timeline upfront and keep you informed throughout.
-
We work with clients and candidates nationwide — private household and executive placements aren't bound by geography, and neither are we. That said, we have deep local roots in the Indianapolis area (Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, and the North Meridian corridor) and in South Florida, including Fort Lauderdale, where the bulk of our current placements are. Wherever you're located, we can build the right search for your household.
-
We work on a retained or contingency basis depending on the nature of the engagement. Fees are discussed transparently during your initial consultation there are no surprises.
-
Completely. We do not share client or candidate information with anyone outside of the immediate search engagement. NDAs are available upon request — for clients and candidates alike — and confidentiality is built into every step of our process, not an afterthought.
-
We stand behind our placements. Every engagement includes a 90-day guarantee period. If it isn't working out for reasons within our control, we'll conduct a full replacement search at no additional placement fee. We'd rather solve the problem than walk away from it, and we stay engaged with structured check-ins throughout the placement, not just at the start.
-
Yes. Many of our clients need 15–25 hours a week of support rather than a full-time or live-in arrangement, and we treat those searches with the same care and process as any full-time placement.
